AtW with Irena: San Francisco Part 2

Hello again from San Francisco!
Like I promised, here are my tips for your stay in this beautiful city based on my personal experience and liking.

Where I stayed and absolutely loved it: Castro, on 17th Street between Sanchez St and Noe St (Castro Cottage w/t Secret Garden)
The perfect day-chill places when the sun is out and cold beer is all you crave: Pier 23, Hayes Valley
The street to discover every step of the way: Valencia St (especially between 20th and 15th)
My fave spots: Puerto Alegre (546 Valencia St) for the best Mexican and Margaritas. Shoe Biz (877 Valencia St) for a spot of shoe shopping. Fine Arts Optical (888 Valencia St), optical and sun glasses heaven
Where I had my morning coffee served with the yummiest bagels (every day different filling): H Cafe (3801 17th St)
The shop where you can buy a present for you man: Unionmade (493 Sanchez St)
For the best city views head over to Twin Peaks Hill, just be prepared to be blown away (literally!)
For long leisurely stroll culminating with the ocean front go to Golden Gate Park

And let’s not forget the bridge: Golden Gate Bridge. If you can, rent a car and go to the Marin Headlands where you can spend a whole day pit stopping at gorgeous sights making you wish you lived here for the rest of your life.
