Lace-y
I finally have photos of me wearing the new H&M lace skirt. This outfit is exactly how I pictured it when I bid on the skirt preferably with a more cropped jacket but I am still on the lookout. This was my outfit on Saturday night for a very cool charitable concert.
Please, do not mind my haircut for the next few days as I am pimping my bangs on my own. I will be transforming the blunt bangs into side swept ones but they will need time to grow and shape gradually.

2. My dear Orchid that to my surprise has blossomed for the second time. It welcomes me everyday with a new flower.

Sportswear Luxe
I have to admit that this trend is my favorite. If you wonder why, well, ever since I started dressing on my own up to the moment I started this blog, I was a sporty gal. Moreover, I used to play soccer in elementary school, ride a bike to high school on a regular basis and had worn a pair of high heels for the first time for graduation. Unbelievable, right? Ever since I bought my first pair of heels though, I was addicted. So heels plus sportswear is heaven for me.

I did a bit of shopping at Asos and ebay these days.
I have been waiting for these boots to be restocked in the taupe color for ages! Meanwhile, I was not able to find good mint green colored nail-polish in the stores hence the OPI via ebay invasion. I also got a great H&M high-waisted pink lace skirt that I plan to combine with these boots.

Tomboy Take Two
I admit I had to put more thought into combining these unique schoolboy pants from American Apparel (thanks once again for the great care package) that is why I deleted the original post (sorry for those of you who already commented). They are a must in every work wardrobe not to mention that the make the legs sky-high when combined with appropriate heels.

Pink is the New Black
I can officially say that I am through with black. Traditional is I am, I always buy clothes in every color as long as it is black. I go shopping with a mission to get some color variety but always end up playing on the safe side. Up until I saw this dress in H&M in London. The first thing I though was: what a great color, wish I can pull it off, hope there is a black alternative somewhere. And there it was, black, and I took it to the dressing room. I loved the design but I realized that I really do not need any more black clothes especially for Spring. But the thought of the pink one grew on me during the night so on the next day I went back and got it. What do you think? It is very difficult to accessories as it is unique on its own.

Turn Your Face to the Sun and the Shadows Fall Behind You
Oh, I feel Spring slowly approaching so I left home without a coat for the first time since November. It was great to reach into the section of my closet where the light and soft clothes are patiently waiting. Moreover, I got the chance to wear one of these heavenly crafted soft tops that drape perfectly that I've been wanting to get my hands on for ages.

The Days After
Thank you so much for your amazing comments on the London posts. It was very difficult to acclimatise both literally and metaphorically speaking. After 4 days full of sunshine, we came back to a snow storm. Officially, I am sick of this Winter, had no chance to wear heels for a week and post something style worthy.
Meanwhile, I have been eying some of Mango's accessories since the Spring catalog came out and took advantage of the somehow better weather to test drive my new dress and went to the mall to try out some jewelry. I came home with these two:

London Life Part Two
As promised, here is a relatively short attempt to put my London experience into words.
I adore this city because it is different every single time. I love the hype, the crowd and the constantly buzzing high street. I love being totally exhausted after an hour in Topshop and the long ques in Primark. I love experimenting with Indian food, overeating with naan, papadums and home made chutney. I love when Regent Str. is closed for traffic. I like watching double-deckers maneuvering in the narrow streets. I love crossing the invisible line at Marble Arch where everyone disappears. I love entering into Hyde Park or St. James's when you suddenly forget about everything and the time stops.
I love enjoying a cup of hot coffee in the park and feeding the squirrels or a pot of tea and fresh caramel pastries at M&S. I enjoy long walks by the river with the boy, taking photos in front of Traitors' Gate, visiting the Aquarium and having meatball marinara with double cheese and chilly sauce at Subway. I love crossing the city with the tube, checking out different stations, changing platforms and listening to street musicians. I love walking down Portobello Rd after dark when there are no tourists and window shopping at vintage shops. I enjoy the coziness of flat apartments in zone 2, warming up with Italian red wine and pasta and gossiping with my best friend from childhood. I love cuddling in a typical high English bed, waking up at sunrise and taking a bath when everyone is asleep. I enjoy the vast green parks in Greenwich at a chilly sunny day, the great view from the observatory and taking photos at the prime meridian.
I love crossing the city with a car during peak hours, checking COS in Westfield, reuniting with a sweet Chinese friend, having baked dough balls with garlic sauce at Pizza Express. I love Canary Wharf at night with the quiet anticipation before the new working week, crossing the channels and having a pint of dark Guinness in the new City. I adore the suburbs with their identical houses, small front driveways, narrow staircases and cute back gardens. I enjoy having a cocktail and home cooked dinner in front of the fireplace with a fellow family, catching up till the early hours of the next day.
Yes, lovelies, that's London for me. Feels more like a second home every time I go there. There is much more to life than shopping.

I had a blast this weekend in London. I have been there 4 times before but this time it felt more like being at home rather than being a tourist. However, more on my London experience in my next post. Here is a quick sneak into my purchases. As you can see, I was a very good girl. How is that possible, you might ask... Well, I am sorry to say that but Zara is a total disappointment for me this season - neither the colors nor the materials fit me well. There isn't a single bag or pair of shoes that I liked. Probably would get some jackets and blazers once they open in Bulgaria. But I picked myself up and stocked on few basics in H&M. There was also a quick stop at the flagship Topshop on Saturday afternoon - gosh, I made it only to the jewelry section. Another stop at the Westfield store - tried few pieces but no luck. Managed to check Primark, River Island, New Look and COS among others. Come to think of it, I was right that this season will be a difficult one for me. Probably would be forced to stick to accessories only because there were like thousand pair of shoes that I liked.
